Synonym. Tripolidine hydrochloride.
The dosage form. Synthetic drug. Available in tablets 0.002 g in a package of 100 pieces. Noracin refers to toxic substances.
Therapeutic properties. Noracin has antiparkinsonian effect, i.e. reduces skeletal muscle tone, reduces involuntary trembling of the limbs and stiffness.
Indications for use. Noracin used in Parkinson's disease and other similar conditions, and also with spastic study. Also used in psychiatric practice.
Rules of application. Noracin refers to toxic substances, as already stated, therefore, the drug should be taken only on doctor's prescription, in strict observance of all its provisions. Tablet norkina taken inside after eating.
Side effects and complications. While taking norkina possible headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, increased heart rate, blurred vision, increased intraocular pressure. Dose reduction or drug discontinuation side effects go away. When possible overdose of CNS dysfunction (mental and motor excitation, hallucinations).
Contraindications. Noracin is contraindicated in patients with glaucoma. Should be used with caution in heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmia, atherosclerosis, as well as in the pathology of the liver and kidneys. With caution you should take the drug at the disease of the prostate.
Storage. Niacin should be stored in a locked cupboard out of the reach of children. The shelf life of the pills 5 years.
