Naftalin

The dosage form. Naftalin — complex preparation in the form of liniment (liquid ointment), comprising: analgin — 2.5 g of methyl salicylate 2.5 g of naphthalan oil, 2.5 g, emulsifier T-2 — 13 g, a mixture of fatty alcohols casalotto fat — 3 g, distilled water — up to 100 g. Available in jars of 100 g.
Therapeutic properties. Liniment for the components exhibits analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Indications for use. Naftalin used for muscle and joint pain.
Rules of application. The liniment is applied topically. A small amount of liniment rubbed into the skin of the patient 2 to 3 times a day and cover with warm water-proof bandage.
Side effects and complications. Sometimes after applying the liniment, possible allergic skin reactions.
Contraindications. The drug is contraindicated in individual intolerance.
Storage. The liniment should be kept in a cool place. Shelf life 2 years.
